Our Instructors

  • Cooper Fierro

    Cooper has been here at School Of Rock since December 2021. He has been playing music since he was 8 years old. He is an instructor for Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Piano. He graduated from ACM@UCO with a Bachelors in Commercial Music in 2022. His dream is to be a Composer for Film and TV and has already composed music for a few short films. His favorite band is Boston and loves anything Classic Rock. His favorite current artist is Bruno Mars. His first (and favorite) concert was Trans-Siberian Orchestra and has also gotten to see his favorite guitarist, Steve Vai, in concert as well. He also helps with the Rock 101, Opening Act, and Performance Groups.

  • Allister Baca

    Allister has been with School of Rock Edmond since December 2020 except for a short stint when he went to play on a cruise ship! He’s been playing music for over 15 years and plays multiple instruments - guitar, bass, banjo, drums, keys and trombone. He’s from Cleveland, OK (not OH) and he went to see Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. Now he’s listening to Green Day, Mac DeMarco, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Mild High Club. He has a Bachelors in Jazz Performance from UCO in Edmond, OK. Other than music Allister loves to read manga and plays Magic the Gathering. Here at School of Rock Edmond he teaches guitar, bass, drums, keys and works with our Rock 101 groups and Performance Programs.

  • James Hammontree

    James Hammontree has been at School of Rock Edmond since Aug 2020, but has been playing music for 20 years. His first concert was seeing Van Halen with his Dad when he was 12 years old but also likes jamming to Ramones, Smiths and Radiohead. James has a degree in Art History and enjoys recording, programming electric drums and coding. Outside of music James enjoys going on hikes, fishing and loves to cook. At School of Rock he is an Instructor teaching guitar and bass, plus helping in Rock 101 and performance groups. James has even been known to help out in Little Wing and Rookies!

  • Devyn McCrea

    Devyn McCrea is a guitarist and Rookies instructor from San Diego California. He has played many shows in a variety of musical styles, including rock, jazz, and classical, across the States and abroad. As well as playing shows, Devyn has years of teaching experience in classrooms and private studios. His first concert was seeing Metallica at 10 years old and this has shaped his musical interests since then. Including loving metal and rock, Devyn also has a passion for classical guitar. Devyn McCrea holds a bachelor's degree in Guitar Performance and is in purist of a Masters degree in Music Education.

  • Bailey Poslick

    Bailey has been with School of Rock Edmond since September 2022 and has been singing for as long as she can remember. Originally growing up in Enid, OK, she now resides in Edmond where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance (2021) and her Master's in Vocal Pedagogy (2023), both at the University of Central Oklahoma. While she doesn’t remember her first concert, some of her favorites were Panic! At the Disco, Imagine Dragons and Twenty One Pilots. She enjoys all genres of music, but is currently listening to classic rock, alternative, and folk music the most. Bailey teaches voice, keys, Rookies, and Performance Program at School of Rock. When she's not teaching, Bailey enjoys performing, researching, traveling, and spending time with her boyfriend and their cat.
  • Thomas Hurd

    Thomas has been at School of Rock since February 2020 and has been playing drums for 26 years. His first concert was Tool but he also listens to Snarky Puppy, Between The Buried and Me, Vulfpeck, Animals as Leaders, A Perfect Circle, Periphery, Hiatus Kaiyote, Cory Wong, Sevendust and so much more. When Thomas isn’t banging away at the drums, performing or teaching he loves to get outdoors to go hiking and kayaking. He’s also at expert level for Dad Jokes! Thomas has incredible talent not only as a drum instructor but helping with our Rock 101, Performance groups and Adult Band.

  • Sarah Stubblefield

    Sarah started at School of Rock Edmond in May of 2023, but began her musical journey when she first picked up a pair of drumsticks at the age of nine. She holds a B.S. in Commercial Music and actively works as a professional drummer, music director, artist manager, and as an instructor in drums, guitar, keyboard, and vocals. An Edmond native, she learned to read and play music as a percussionist in school, playing on the Edmond Santa Fe HS drumline. Sarah has spent five seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder Drummers as the snare drum section lead, plays for Life Church, and has toured in Country/Rock, Hip-Hop, and Indie/Punk bands. Her first concert was Toby Mac & Chris Tomlin, and her work as a songwriter and producer is influenced by various Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Rock artists. When she’s not playing or teaching music, she’s watching music business webinars, studying her favorite songwriters, or playing The Sims. Her style of leadership in music emphasizes the art of performing, inspired by the motto of Percussion Director Scott Johnson, “If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.”

  • Michael Vaughan


    Music=Life. Even though this is an over used musician's mantra , there is no better way to describe Mike Vaughn. Every minute of every day, Mike is working on something music related. Mike works as the School of Rock Edmond music director by day, and at night he works as a record producer and recording engineer for many local Oklahoma artists out of his studio, PsyNapze Audio Production & Design Lab. Mike has a bachelor's degree from ACM@UCO in Contemporary Music Production. He also attended Berklee College of Music where he studied Jazz Harmony and Electronic Music Production and Design.
    At School of Rock, Mike strives to challenge his students everyday by blending Jazz harmony concepts into a digestible rock approach. This allows his students to not only read and write their own charts and sheet music but also teaches them to critically analyze the music they play and listen to. Mike is active in the local music scene as the bass player for the instrumental prog-rock band "Magic Munchbox"
    Mike brings leadership and a contagious passion for music to the whole team at School of Rock Edmond.
  • Rozlyn Melton

    Rozlyn or “Roz” has been with School of Rock Edmond since Feburary 2022 but has been singing since she was 3 and playing guitar since she was 10. She is from Broken Arrow, OK but lives in Edmond where she’s working on finishing up her third degree from UCO. Her first concert was to see Jo Dee Messina & The Judds. She now considers Florence + the Machine a top favorite but is also listening to Jade Bird, Julia Jacklin, Lucy Dacus & Rainbow Kitten Surprise. Besides practicing with her band, playing guitar/singing, and studying, Roz loves to enjoy time outdoors. She loves exploring, photography, hiking and lounging in a hammock. Here at our school she teaches guitar and vocal lessons.

  • Jake Beesley

    Jake Beesley has been at School of Rock Edmond since March 2020 and has been playing music for 10 years. He’s currently earning his bachelor’s degree from UCO in Edmond, OK in Commercial Music after already earning his associate’s in Keyboard Performance. His first concert was seeing Billy Joel but also enjoys listening to AJR and Jon Bellion. When he’s not in school or playing music Jake loves to sail and do Aikido but definitely not at the same time. Here at School of Rock he teaches Keys and also Ukulele (ask him about living in Hawaii), plus he is a Rock 101 instructor.
  • Amy Brahic

    Amy is a passionate vocal and keys teacher with a diverse musical background. She earned her bachelors degree in vocal performance (opera and jazz) at UCO and is currently pursuing a masters in school and professional counseling at the same institution. Amy's musical palette spans metal, rock, bluegrass, jazz, and indie. Outside of teaching, she enjoys reading, working out, playing video games, and spending quality time with her husband and three cats.
  • Hannah Davidson

    Hannah has been singing and performing for 10+ years! She graduated from ACM@UCO with a Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance and Commercial Music. Hannah loves all genres of music, including Country, Rock, Pop, Musical Theatre and much more. She also loves to bake and spend time with her 2 dogs and her family!

  • Zoe Gfeller

    Zoe is from right here in Edmond, OK and has been teaching at School of Rock Edmond since September 2022. She’s been playing bass for about 8 years and has worked with several groups in her music career. She is a bit embarrassed to tell people her first concert, so she usually refers to Weezer (her second concert) as her first. Ask her in person and she might tell you what the first one was! Zoe enjoys many types of music, but some of her favorite artists are Talking Heads, David Bowie, and The Modern Lovers. Zoe is a student at UCO earning a degree in Communications. In her free time, she enjoys writing, photography, watching movies, and making short films. Here at School of Rock Edmond she teaches bass and guitar lessons but also helps out with Rock 101 and Opening Act groups!
  • Andrea Miller

    Andrea has been at School of Rock Edmond since Sept 2019. Andrea has a background in Childhood Enrichment. Back in 1996, Andrea attended her first concert, Hootie and the Blowfish. Andrea enjoys theater, performing arts and is a skilled Hype Man. Her other talents include handstands and front flips on the trampoline. At School of Rock she is a Little Wing and Rookies Instructor. She is great with the kids and we are lucky to have her at School of Rock!
